Kane and Son Diving Cheats
https://twitter.com/creedyszn/status/1323176992347463680?s=08

I can't believe this barely got a mention on TV yesterday. Both dives happened in the space of seconds. Retrospective cards/fines/bans should be issued for shit like this.

Let's not forget the way the captain of England "managed" to get his penalty although some EURO96ers may think it's part of the professional game. Modern football is shit.

What's the point of stop starting matches in real time, VAR and post match inquiry oanels, if when cunts like this cheat so brazenly and nothing gets done.

Either use the tech to clean up the game, or leave it alone as it always was played before.

Otherwise it just looks to being used as a way to help betting syndicates get the result they need and bump up Redknapp's dog's bank account

Kane has always dived. Does it for England too.

Remember when Lanzini got a 3 match ban for this? So much for a level playing field.

Re: Kane and Son Diving Cheats
Kane has always fallen over shadows. A gust of wind seems to pole-axe him. It's embarrassing and, as captain of England, he should be warned by the FA about it. But they won't do anything.

I noticed Son started doing the same thing last year. He used to be like most South Koreans, battle for everything until he lost the ball and play to the whistle. Now, probably having seen Kane in training for long enough, he's developed bad habits.

It's not just the Spurs duo, though, as you say. There's too much of it in the Premier League in these days. Most rule changes in recent years have helped forwards anyway (no tackles from behind, even if you get the ball, the ludicrous 'not interfering with play' offside rule etc). It's not like the rules aren't already working massively in their favour.

Defenders are generally panicked about going near an opponent in the box these days.

So, youre right, with cameras everywhere and the game being stopped constantly for VAR, why not use the technology to stop these cheats?

"Football used to be a man's game...gone to the dogs...I remember when it was all just fields etc etc..."

Re: Kane and Son Diving Cheats
Didn't Kane do a bit more than dive?

He faked a foul by running into a player who was in the air, which is dangerous play, and got a penalty, when he should have got a booking, at least.

He did the same thing to Cresswell (but outside the peanlty area) in our match against them.

If he makes a habit of it, someone's going to get seriously hurt.

It was a 2 game ban that Lanzini got when he tried to avoid a wild lunge from a Stoke player who still caught him and a penalty was correctly awarded.
It blew up because Mark Hughes was trying to deflect from a 3-0 smashing we gave them
Think there was an Everton player banned (Niasse?) & maybe one other

The whole thing was canned when it became obvious that Harold KANE and Bamidele ALLI were culprits every week and banning England’s finest cheats every week would be hugely embarrassing

Re: Kane and Son Diving Cheats
Peter Crouch today saying that Salah had to go down to get the penalty he deserved.

The problem with diving these days is that there are absolute cunts who endorse it like this. No doubt Crouch will be saying to his kids to go down in the box at every opportunity.

John Barnes got it right yesterday when he said "just because there is contact, doesn't mean it's a foul".

Agree with Tex, if it is clear and obvious that a player had cheated the referee into believe that there is a foul, or that the severity of the contact was allot worse than it is, then players should be heavily punished.

Name and shame on the filthy cunts who think it's ok to cheat.

Terrible example to any kids, especially Crouch's comments.

While it seems unrelated it isn't but has any English speaking media group done any decent documentaries about the Italian match fixing scandal or was there just some whitewash BBC effort to fob the public off as is their wont.
I'd like to see a good one if anyone knows of any.

Sadly corruption in football goes beyond the odd Italian football club's owner hosting Bunga Bunga parties for the elites.

Keep it under your hat but there's a few quid to be made if one was so inclined and knew a good electrician for the Crystal Palace cup game coming up.

Being "cute/smart" = cheating

But you're right, unless someone takes a stand it will carry on. In fact it will get worse when no mark pundits also chat shit.

I was pleasantly surprised that MotD unanimously agreed

Salah, Wilson, Grealish and Kane should all have been booked for diving to win their penalties. Son and Kane again should've been booked for trying to do so.

It's a load of old bollocks

Always remember Matt JARVIS getting booted in the area at Arsenal. Was as clear a foul as you will ever see.
Stayed up, didn't get the pen.

It may well be cunty commentary from Crouch, but he's not wrong. Until refs start penalising actual fouls, and booking people for engineering them and / or diving, nothing will change

I watched the highlights on Match of the Day last night and noticed Kane look towards Lallana before moving his body into Lallana’s path. I was hoping that it would be mentioned in the analysis, which it was.

That said, Trevor Morley did something similar in 1994 at White Hart Lane when we beat them 4-1.

About time the FA...IFAP...PL etc spoke out and ruled on the giving pandemic...

Many top players do it...because they get away with it...

Cards and fines (player and club) would sort it.
